Twilight Saga Continued

Reading the first two books gave a lot of information but I think my all time favorite while I was reading has to have been Eclipse. It was the most informative and Bella has Edward back. It goes through the emotions of having Jacob and Edward after Jacob has kinda been considered as a partner kind of. I think it was amazing because of the amount of information of the pack that is learned. I loved the insight on how things were going. Bella is going through her final year of high school and just balancing all the emotions.  The book makes all the transitions much smoother than the movie. The movie felt centered around the war with the new borns and them coming for Bella. In the book this is not eluded to until mid or halfway through the book. It isn't just constant anxiety over the war. There was more complexity. They weren't just drowning in worry like the movie made it seem. There was a plot beside the war. Twilight Saga

Twilight Saga is just wow.  I've always been a fan of the characters in the movie adaption of the four book series written by Stephanie Meyer but reading it was a whole other story. If my love for the series wasn't high to begin with then I wouldn't have ate. But alas.  Books one and two really set the tone for the amount of obsession and need for the two men in Bellas life. You really feel her fall in love with Jacob in book two but it is and has always been more of a brother love. There was always another in her heart and mind. I cannot give Jacob more credit though because this boy became a man in like half a book. Props.  6'7 thats all i gotta say.  more coming

2023/2024 Books

 sooo heres the update  The holiday season took a toll on my numbers but dont worry we are making up for the amount of slack given in the month of December.  January I wracked up and impressive number of 9 books and then quickly followed by 4 more.  My current number for the year is 14. I just finished Breaking Dawn and have three more books I am currently working on. My number will be slowing in the incoming months. The only reason I have had so much time is because of the crocheting break I allowed myself.  I am still working on the throne of glass series and if I wasn't such a mood reader I would be farther into the series then book 4. I also have gotten really into the kindle unlimited books that are avaible and have no self control.  Regular dark romance books has really been doing it for me I finish those bad boys in a good few days. THATS THE UPDATE

Updates

It is the beginning of December. There is a drizzle in the air and I have not finished a physical book in too long. Tell me whyyyy. I have only been able to complete audio books because of all the crocheting I've been doing help.  Iron Flame has been started after its anticipated release on November 8th.  I am also on Queen of Shadows. I have not made much progress in this regard unfortunately. I am scared of the upcoming events. My SJM journey is overall going much slower than I would have liked but alas life gets in the way. More like I have been prioritizing other things but tomato.  I am very excited to be getting the CC series because the next series comes out in January and sooo excited. I am going to try and read some festive romances but lets see how that goes. :)

Reread of ACOTAR ch 13

At chapter 13 of my reread of ACOTAR. I love all the small little details that really elude to the larger plot at play. I really can't stand how much Tamlin is not charming in any way shape or form. Man has no game and from what I've read so far Feyre falls in love with Tampon out of pity. It's definitely just because she needed some loving on after escaping the hovel of a home and her family. I am a little disgusted with the way Tampon really is just accepting of his fate and the fate of his land. I would be upset the way Lucien is because he's having everyone do the work to save his land. Knowing the way the rest of his character develops makes me have zero pity on him in this reread. Like poor High Lord all alone in his mansion with people who love him and comfort. Not trying to break the curse that is literallllyyyyy letting Amarantha take all of Prythian under but alright Tampon. You do you boo sit around and leave it to chance. Heir of Fire Completed

 After chapter 55 I was completely sucked in. Nothing could tear that book from my clutches. I felt like I needed to finish the book in one sitting and I was successful.  After being completely shattered to my core at the end of chapter 56 I proceeded with the rest of the story. At this point Aelin has now remembered shes a bad bitch who is descended from Brannon and she decided to go fireheart on those little prince Valgs. She really pushed through all of her memories resurfacing and SJM really gave us her entire story through the span of this book. I was always insanely curious how this girl really got found in a river frozen to death by Arobyn. I was completely shocked at Rowan being able to share his magic with her in that last moment to defeat the last two Valgs. She said ASH. SJM really had me there in the moment she took Aelins hand on the brink there and lit that fire back. Rowan was about to lose it on his boys for holding her back. Can we take a second to acknowledge...

Heir of Fire chapter 15

 I have just gotten to Heir of Fire chapter 15 and let me tell you. Chapter 14 was very much my favorite so far. Rowan really dragged Aelin into the motherfucking woods bro. He said fight this shit and we can move on since you think you don't need training. This girl not only saw the night her parents were murdered but dear Nehemia as well. I felt shattered for her. She threw up and pissed her pants because of the sheer terror she felt from that little forrest dwelling. What in the fuck was it???? Rowan was like idk what that was but you came out different. Like no shit Rowan. He had the nerve to call her undisciplined and to say she was throwing a magic tantrum. Girl wouldn't piss her pants over nothing.
